The Mechanical Crew Leader is responsible for leading five Mechanic Specialists in the daily activities associated with maintaining, repairing, and overhauling natural gas compressor units and other associated equipment at Southern Natural Gas (SNG) and Tennessee Gas Pipeline (TGP) locations throughout Mississippi and western Alabama.

The regular work schedule is four ten hour days per week.The position requires the ability to work extended hours and weekends.May work in low-lit areasWork requirements include; good dexterity and mobility to function in climbing, bending, kneeling, working with hands extended above the head, twisting of the upper body, standing for long periods of time, working in confined spaces, exposure to extreme weather conditions and lifting.Overnight travel away from the reporting location is required up to 80% of the time.Required to carry company cell phone and respond to calls, text messages, and emails as needed.The position requires the operation of a company vehicle.
