Key Responsibilities:Inflight Crew Schedulers ensure that all flights in our reliable Worldwide network are accurately staffed with Inflight crew in support of Core4 as it relates to United’s goal of providing safe, efficient, and reliable air transportation for our customers.
Assign all open flying to qualified Inflight crew members according to Federal Aviation Regulations, flight attendant Contract, and Company policies24-hour communications center/point of contact for flight attendant work group, providing round-the-clock support to Inflight crew members with regards to schedule and flight-related issues, delay notifications, assignment modifications, etc.)Responsible to supervise crew legalities, communicate changes, reassign flight attendants and perform CMS transactions to ensure accurate crew pay and quality assuranceUnited values diverse experiences, perspectives, and we encourage everyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply. What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): High School Diploma or GED1 - 2 years scheduling operations experience and or experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring high volume customer interactionPossess intermediate MS Office skills particularly with Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to convey information effectively both verbally and in writingStrong computer knowledge and typing skillsProven ability resolving conflict and working in a fast paced environment handling stressful situationsAbility to manage stress and stay calm under high pressure situationsMust be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities to be successful on the jobGood organizational, time management, and problem-solving skillsPossess the necessary skills to provide support and courteous service to crew membersSuccessful candidate must also be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environmentMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Bachelor’s degree or 3 – 5 years of equivalent experience COSMOS experience highly 1-2 years relevant crew scheduling1-2 years of airline operation experienceUnited Airlines is an equal opportunity employer.
