Criminal Justice Specialist
Job Title: Criminal Justice Specialist

Job Summary:

CASES is seeking a Justice Specialist to join our Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) team and make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals with complex needs.

The Justice Specialist, a Master's-level mental health clinician, plays a vital role in our FACT program by providing community-based treatment and services that adhere to the ACT model. This dedicated professional outreaches clients, offering engagement services and psychoeducation, and acts as a powerful advocate within the criminal legal system. They navigate the system on the clients' behalf, providing court updates, coordinating care during incarceration, and supplying advocacy letters to defense attorneys.

At CASES, we understand that our clients, aged 18 and above, have unique challenges. They live with serious mental illness, often coupled with substance use disorders and a history of involvement in the criminal legal system. Traditional service delivery approaches may not have served them well, which is where our innovative FACT team steps in.

Our FACT program is an evidence-based practice offering an integrated set of treatments, rehabilitation, case management, and support services. Our mobile, multi-disciplinary mental health treatment team takes a highly individualized approach, empowering clients to achieve their goals in housing, employment, relationships, and symptom and medication management.

As a Justice Specialist, you will be a key member of this dynamic team, utilizing your clinical expertise and passion for social justice to make a real difference. Your specific title won't limit your impact; instead, you will have the freedom to be both a generalist and a specialist, tailoring your clinical services to your unique areas of experience and interest.

If you are ready to embark on a rewarding career where you can directly contribute to positive change, we encourage you to join our mission at CASES. Apply today to become a Justice Specialist and help us transform lives!
