Crisis and Urgent Outpatient Services Clinician
Schedule: Sun - Thu 10 am - 6 pm   Salary: $76,000 / year   The Crisis and Urgent Outpatient Services Clinician provides triage, assessment, and direct clinical services--including individual, family, and group interventions--to clients of the Lowell Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC). This role facilitates warm hand-offs to other CBHC services as appropriate and works closely with police departments and the local emergency department to support community access and effective diversionary efforts.   The Crisis and Urgent Outpatient Services Clinician also: Provides evidence-based direct 1:1 and group clinical interventions in support of the population presenting to the CBHC and to meet access standards. Maintains a caseload of clients, with an appropriate frequency of interventions, that supports divisional/clinic productivity requirements. Serves on the Multidisciplinary Team for Utilization Reviews, as directed. Provides clinical consultation, when needed. Ensures recordkeeping/documentation in accordance with internal and external requirements and regulations. Coordinates access to services and treatment and care with collaterals, including law enforcement other providers, family, etc. Functions as liaison between Vinfen and the police departments within the CBHC catchment area and participates in the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training series as requested. Liaises with the Lowell General Hospital emergency department and with other community referral sources, and engages in networking and relationship-building activities in the greater Lowell catchment area. Provides after-hours on-call coverage in rotation with other program staff. Performs other duties as assigned. Why Vinfen?
