We are looking for a licensed mental health professional to join the Ulster County Mobile Mental Health Team. This unique and versatile position involves rotating shifts within the county and with the Kingston Fire Dept. (KFD). When covering shifts at KFD, this will require the clinician to be present in the ambulance when responding to mental health related calls. Responsibilities include performing on-base and on-call duties, responding to crisis calls, implementing safety plans, and providing follow-up support until clients are engaged with outpatient services. Clinicians are required to be skilled in the clinical triage and assessment of all emergency, urgent, and routine calls. Able to assess the needs of each individual served and intervene as appropriate to the situation. Coordinate outreach services, service planning, follow-up support and administrative back up as needed and clinically appropriate. Work in compliance with MMHT, agency and regulatory procedural guidelines Qualifications: Professional license required-LMSW, LCSW or LMHC, Limited Permit acceptable.
