Serving as Erie County’s 24/7 crisis hotline operator as well as community crisis responder since 1993, Crisis Services offers phone, mobile and walk-in services to individuals of all ages. In addition to providing comprehensive crisis interventions, Crisis Services is also a part of the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
Under the direction of the Crisis Clinician Supervisor, the Crisis Clinician Associate is responsible for providing clinical services to consumers experiencing a self-identified crisis. Primary responsibility is responding to crisis related situations from community professionals and persons. This includes, but is not limited to, answering questions, obtaining clinical information, scheduling outpatient evaluations, responding to telephone crisis, de-escalation, and documentation of all duties previously mentioned.
The ideal hire for this position will be someone who has previous behavioral health related experience, particularly in crisis intervention or case management. Additionally, experience in customer service and completing clinical assessments also strongly preferred. This is an four day per week, evening shift position, 2p-12am. Schedule will be rotating.

**Sign-On Bonus Details:**
+ · $3,500 with a 2-year work commitment
+ · $5,000 with a 3-year work commitment
**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage shift caseload with guidance from Leadership.
+ Use electronic medical records for information & documentation.
+ Work independently in crisis settings.
+ Support consumers with person-centered counseling and arrange referrals.
+ Meet documentation and paperwork requirements
+ Conduct face-to-face crisis assessments.
+ Respond to calls from consumers and community.
+ Participate in trainings and staff meetings.
+ Complete case reviews.
+ Support therapeutic milieu and ensure safety.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work.
+ Other fields of study may be considered with coursework of at least 12 credits in human services and/or relevant mental health experience.
+ Consistent ability to respond calmly and effectively, using good clinical judgment to both psychiatric and medical emergencies.
+ Recovery-oriented interpersonal relations.ATTENTION: IF YOUR DEGREE IS NOT IN SOCIAL WORK, PSYCHOLOGY OR COUNSELING, TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED FOR CONSIDERATION.
+ **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
+ Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
+ Driver's License
+ Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
+ Act 33 with renewal
+ Act 34 with renewal
+ Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
