**Crisis Intervention Intern**
Location: Rockford, IL
**Position Summary**
Under the Program Manager’s direction, the Crisis Intervention Intern will work alongside first responders to provide on-site crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization services for adults and children experiencing or who are at risk for experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
Hours: Flexible schedule
**Responsibilities**
+ Internship responsibilities vary and are based on the agreement between the educational institution and NYAP
+ Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Enrollment in an Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field from a CSWE accredited educational program.
+ Specific qualifications will be based on internship details.
+ Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
