Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure management, is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician - Electrical 2 to join their team. As a Critical Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Operations team supporting essential facility services. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Critical Facilities Technician - Electrical 2
**Location:** Boydton, VA
**Pay Range:** $30-$35 per hour
**Schedule:** Night shift, 12-hours, Thu-Sat/Wed/Sat
**What's the Job?**
+ Able to complete all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 role description.
+ Take daily operational readings of all electrical equipment through routine rounds/log taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.).
+ Follow operating procedures (SOPs) for critical environment planned work activities.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems quarterly and annually.
+ Assist in troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of instrument sensors and calibration.
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience with electrical systems in high availability environments such as data centers, hospitals, or manufacturing.
+ All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
+ 3+ years of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls).
+ Able to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts and rotating shifts.
