Critical Facility Manager (Data Center) Job ID 176480 Posted 16-Jul-2024 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Facilities Management, Property Management Location(s) Chennai - Tamil Nadu - India **Roles and responsibilities:** + Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring their competency in building plant and system operations. + Oversee the efficient and effective operation of all building systems, including BMS, lighting, electrical, and HV infrastructure. + Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure statutory certifications and QHSE compliance for critical systems. + Manage critical spares, review preventative maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). + Prepare reports, analyse utility usage, and maintain accurate asset databases. + Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities with internal teams and external contractors. + Possess a deep understanding of building management systems, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and data center equipment. + Represent the client in meetings, address critical equipment issues, and provide timely reports with recommendations. + Develop and implement site-specific standard and emergency operating procedures for critical infrastructure. + Compile and manage the control of engineering risk register and report on critical systems availability. + Review engineering competency, identify skills gaps, and plan future training to ensure a competent and well-staffed contract team. + Respond to critical equipment issues, bringing them to the client's attention immediately and providing reports with recommendations. + Produce quotations for critical infrastructure enhancements or remedial works. + Represent the client in meetings as requested and contribute to the overall Business Continuity and Risk Mitigation plan. **Qualification:** B.E / B.Tech in Electrical **Experience:** 10 to 12 years (Min 5 to 6 Years in Data Center is must) **Language:** English & Tamil CBRE, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer (Women/Minorities/Persons with Disabilities/US Veterans)
