For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members (https://wpe-media.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Frontline\_v2\_English\_9.5.24.pdf) | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) (CFT I) Position Summary: The CFT I is an hourly, non-exempt position with responsibility to monitor and operate critical cooling and electrical equipment for mission critical facilities (Primarily Data Centers). Reporting to the Critical Facility Manager, the CFT I is the entry level position for the critical operations team. The CFT I’s primary duty will be to monitor and operate the Building Automation System (BAS) and alert other operations team members when critical equipment status could impact uptime. During routine maintenance the CFT I will follow along with a copy of the Method of Procedure (MOP) and observe changes on the BAS, if conditions are not as expected the CFT I will alert the operations team conducting the MOP in order to allow for any needed changes to the MOP or to execute back out plans. During steady state operations the CFT I will alert the operations team to any change in condition that could result in Service Level Agreement (SLA) impact, ie high or low temperature, high or low humidity, loss of utility power, low of power redundancy, etc. Duties and Responsibilities: · Show up on time and in the proper uniform (ABM provided) to every assigned shift. · Never abandon the operations center without being properly relieved. · Train and observe work performed by CFT II’s and other operations team members in order to develop a full knowledge of Mission Critical Operations. · Complete the required CFT I online and site-specific training programs. · Read, understand and assist as necessary to complete Methods of Procedures (MOP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Emergency Operation Procedures (EOP). · Maintain an accurate shift log. · Develop a well-rounded understanding of electrical, mechanical, BAS, EPMS, BMS, and Fire Protection System. · Monitor and escalate to management any needed response to after-hours emergencies. Education, Equivalent Experience, and Environmental Factors: · Military, Technical education or equivalent 3+ years’ experience in related environments, preferred. · High School Diploma or Equivalent · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Experience utilizing a computer required. · Experience operating a BAS system preferred. · Prolonged sitting or standing, lift or move objects weighing 50 pounds or more. \#300 REQNUMBER: 115377
