Job Title: Critical Infrastructure Engineer

Shift: Third Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday)
Position Type: Long-Term Contract with Potential for Full-Time Employment

Beacon Hill is hiring a Critical Infrastructure Engineer for a long-term contract role in Simpsonville, SC. This on-site, third shift position (Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) offers the potential for full-time conversion with the client.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and maintain critical infrastructure for the data center, including rack and stack, switch gear, UPS, generators, PDUs (breaker panels), and CDUs (power strips).Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a fast-paced environment.Perform preventive maintenance on data center systems to ensure uptime.Follow established procedures for system checks, upgrades, and installations.Work closely with team members, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a data center environment.Familiarity with critical infrastructure systems, including UPS, PDUs, switch gear, and generators.Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data center operations and hardware maintenance.IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+).

Additional Information:

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM.On-site role with a 5-day workweek.Long-term contract with potential for full-time conversion.
