They offer Third Party Purchases, Installs, Corrective and Preventive Maintenance of Mission Critical Power Equipment such as: Switchgear, Batteries, UPS and Generator Maintenance & Repair Services, Turnkey Electrical Solutions, DC Plant Services and Battery Services. They provide reliability and uptime of mission-critical facilities for many of the world's largest organizations and government facilities including Enterprise Data Centers, Colocation Providers and Hyperscale Companies.

The Critical Power Solutions Manager will manage a team and will be responsible for providing electrical power system solutions on a national level providing design, implementation of new products, and oversight of the technical aspects of power systems while providing strategic guidance and support for the project team. Supporting solutions with critical data center equipment such as UPS, Battery Monitoring, Batteries / Energy Storage, Generators, STS and PDUs. Will travel as needed to assist in scoping the project, building rapport with the customer / technical and non-technical stakeholders, and being on-site when needed during project execution.

Responsibilities:

Travel to customer sites to evaluate, interview and translate customer requirements into design documentsSupport the sales team when needed by serving as the technical subject matter expert on critical power equipment and solutionsSME on power systems / energy storage as it pertains to battery storage and other emerging storage solutionsLead the technical aspects of energy storage projects from inception to completion, including design, planning, implementation, and commissioning phasesDeliver power storage projects completed within the scheduled timeline, within budget, with an eye on cost-saving measures without compromising quality and safetyCollaborate with cross-functional teams: developing and optimizing Power solutions that align with client’s requirements, industry best practices, and regulatory standards.Keep abreast of latest advancements in the battery storage field in order to stay on the cutting edgeIdentify and assess technical risks associated with energy storage projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions and ensure project successImplement and maintain QC / quality control processes to ensure that energy storage solutions meet regulatory compliance, safety standards, and performance expectationsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to the project teamFoster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages both professional growth and development of team membersPrepare and deliver comprehensive technical documentation, status reports, and project updates to keep internal and external stakeholders informed about project status and performance of power solutions / energy storage projectsCreate, modify, install and SOPs / MOPs for solutions implementedIdentify opportunities for process optimization, technological advancements, and cost-effective solutions to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of power-based storage projectsCommunicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to understand project requirements, address technical concerns, and provide valuable insights to ensure the successful execution of energy storage projects.Hire, manage and mentor staff of Critical Power Engineers

Qualifications:

BS in engineering, energy management, or equivalent work experience required3-5 + years of Project Management experience; PMP or relevant certification a plusProven experience in technical project management within the energy storage industryDemonstrate a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budgetMinimum of 3 - 6 years of experience working with Power Systems / Battery storage systemsUPS experience working with: Emerson / Liebert / Vertiv ; APC / MGE / Schneider , Eaton / Powerware / PDI , etc. a plusBattery experience working with: MPI Narada, EastPenn, Enersys, etc. a plusGenerator experience working with: CAT, Kohler, MTU, etc. a plusExperience with Design, Delivery, Commissioning and Implementation Battery Storage and Power equipment within a data center critical facility environment: UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply), Generators, Switchgears, Batteries, Battery Monitoring, STS, PDU, etc.)In-depth knowledge of Power Systems / energy storage technologies, to be able to provide solutions to customers: what products to recommend, product / solution limitations, as well as market trendsExperience with drafting scopes of works, MOP / SOP documentation and reports, project plans, schedules, etc.Requires knowledge of equipment manufacturer’s specifications (OEM)Grid integration, renewable energy systems, and energy policy is highly desirableExperience in managing and motivating teams to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality resultsAbility to identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulationsProficiency in project management tools, software, and relevant technical applicationsEffectively collaborate with cross-functional teams with ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills - verbal, written, presentation, and customer serviceStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced work environmentsAbility to travel up to 75%Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPointPrevious experience in the Military / Military veterans in all branches that have experience with Electrical / Mechanical is a huge plus (Navy nukes- EMN, ETN, MMNs, SeaBees, Army - Power Generation, Air Force – Power Production, Generator Techs, Maritime, Coast Guard, etc.)
