Job Description
Client Relationship Management (CRM) – Analyst
This role is an Analyst level opportunity in the Global Client Group on the European Family Office team. The Associate will support fundraising and relationship management activities across Real Estate, Infrastructure, Renewable Power/Transition, Private Equity, and Credit. The role will encompass all aspects of the fundraising process (marketing activities, direct client communications, research, client/prospect due diligence) as well as supporting relationships with existing investors.
Key Accountabilities
Support all aspects of fund marketing activities, client prospect due diligence and onboarding processes
Work with CRMs to originate new client investment activity across Europe
Coordinate dedicated Family Office events in conjunction with the Events team
Coordinate and attend update/diligence meetings with investment teams (prepare pre-meeting reports and appropriate materials, coordinate any follow-up)
Communicate with clients to support due diligence requests and ongoing investor queries
Maintain Brookfield’s internal CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring the system is up to date for internal reporting purposes and the ongoing tracking of the team’s fundraising opportunities
Assist with ad-hoc business development activities
Conduct alternative asset industry research and client-specific research to map out different European markets and their respective Family Office ecosystems
Monitor industry press for information relating to our respective prospects and competitors
In conjunction with Fundraise Management Teams, help coordinate road shows, conferences, and investor meetings
Candidate Profile
Undergraduate degree
Postgraduate studies in finance such as CFA, MBA, or CA/CPA advantageous
Relevant experience (1-3 years) in the financial services industry; ideally in a client-facing role within asset/wealth management
Strong investment and financial analytical capabilities. Knowledge of private markets/alternative investments a bonus
Time and project management skills are highly valued.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Experience of Salesforce ideal but not required.
Team player with positive attitude, collaborative mindset, desire to learn and proactive approach to work
Ability to develop strong internal/external relationships
Ability to multi-task, project manage and work in a very fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and creative problem-solving ability
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail
European language skills a plus
