CRM Application Developer Analyst
As a CRM Application Developer Analyst for Tektronix, you will be part of a collaborative team responsible for providing technological expertise over a broad spectrum of environments. You will leverage your experience in analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of software applications to develop, enhance, and modify Tektronix business applications. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of interfaces, extensions, data conversions and customizations for supporting Tektronix business operations. **Primary Responsibilities** : + Participate in all aspects of Business applications, development, deployment, and support, both technically and functionally. + Develop creative solutions to challenging business problems by implementing software interfaces, data conversions, and customizations. + Lead teams by collaborating with business owners on new functionality requests and production support. + Manage all aspects of projects including functional requirement and technical specification development, task breakdown and timelines, project implementation, and training and support. + Document all aspects of project implementation. + Assist in the training, development, and mentoring of other team members. + Collaborate with business analysts and business owners on new functionality requests and production support issues + Develops functional requirements and develops technical specifications to support them + Provides task breakdown and timelines in order to meet established delivery dates + Develops applications, enhancements, extensions and interfaces using standard development technologies and methodology + Assists in the training, development, and mentoring of other team members **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an IT related field or equivalent work experience. + Minimum of 8+ years' experience in a developer / business analyst role + Strong base in IT fundamentals, including: full life-cycle of an IT project – project initiation / planning, business requirements definition, functional / technical design, development, test plans, documentation, implementation. + In-depth knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, relational database design and concepts. + Oracle DBMS knowledge + Experience in Linux Shell Scripting + Strong diagnostic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills + Demonstrated knowledge of hands on experience with structured programming is required. + Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment including the ability to work collaboratively with business users, IT staff, and various levels of management + Strong analytical skills with ability to investigate problems and to develop/execute appropriate action plans + Strong project-management and organizational skills + Ability to multi-task and remain flexible in a fast-moving environment + Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills + Self-motivated and creative, with a focus on continual improvement and new ideas + Leadership: must be a strategic thinker able to convert transformative ideas into practical solutions that deliver real results + Teamwork: must be able to work with cross-functional teams to meet objectives + Ability to influence others for results: must be able to inform, convince, and persuade others to act on key initiatives to deliver measurable results + Organizational agility: must possess the ability to interface with and influence all levels of the organization and across functional boundaries. + Experience in Materials Planning / Logistic processes a plus. + Experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reporting a plus _(reports within dynamics are built via SSRS, Dynamics is not supporting any Crystal resports)_ + Experience in MS Server Integration Services (SSIS) and KingswaySoft a plus _– this is part of the interfaces stack_ + Microsoft SQL Server, web services knowledge a plus. **Fortive Corporation Overview** Fortive’s essential technology makes the world stronger, safer, and smarter.
