Position description:
Purpose:
The CRM Data Manager will be responsible for managing and manipulating data to drive data-driven campaigns, ensuring data quality and accuracy, and providing actionable insights to inform marketing, technology and sales strategies.
Key responsibilities:
Data management and manipulation for ELL marketing
Own the CRM data landscape, ensuring data is robust, available and correct.
Own the end-to-end process for data uploads ensuring a consistent and high-quality approach.
Process improvement and automation proposals
Continually look for opportunities to improve the way we handle our data, in line with Pearson’s processes.
Propose and implement automations to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
Targeting, segmentation and performance analysis
Analyse and report on campaign performance, using data to inform and improve future campaigns.
Report on KPIs, including performance metrics and campaign ROI to ensure department targets are met.
Define key performance indicators and set up dashboards to track them.
Through continual optimisation, improve campaign performance by increasing relevancy through effective segmentation.
Collaboration with other teams
Work with CRM Campaign Manager using data insights to inform campaign strategy.
Collaborate with technology and system experts to create automations and reduce manual errors.
Work with Sales to help manage the lead funnel, ensuring the quality of data is sufficient for sales and marketing.
Data compliance
Meet the highest standards of data privacy and regulatory compliance through implementing data governance policies, ensuring data quality and compliance with GDPR, and all other data protection laws.
Work closely with IT, legal and business teams to ensure compliant data handling practices, permissions, and oversee lifecycle process to maintain trust and transparency in all our data operations.
A proactive approach to risk management is vital and to stay up to date with any changes to regulations.
Candidate profile
Required skills and experience:
4-5 years proven experience in a data analyst role, preferably in marketing.
Strong knowledge of data management, ETL processes and data-driven campaign strategies.
Proficient in data manipulation tools and techniques.
Experience with Excel, Tableau, SQL and Google Analytics.
Familiarity with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Ability to create and manage dashboards and reports.
Experience in defining KPIs and monitoring performance metrics.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Salesforce Admins, Sales, Digital and Technology teams, Performance team, eCommerce team, Regional Marketers and the Data Privacy Office.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Collaborative mindset and the ability to work with diverse teams.
