CRM Systems Analyst III
Position Title:CRM Systems Analyst III Job Group:Professional & Scientific Required Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a central university admissions office in some capacity related to recruitment. Experience working with traditional undergraduate admissions policies and procedures. Professional experience with or education in project management. Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce. Job Description: The Systems Analyst III is responsible for managing and supporting the CRM system used by the Admissions office. This role includes supervising a team, ensuring system performance, optimizing processes, and collaborating with campus partners and vendors. The position also involves developing system improvements, providing training, and supporting the Admissions team's recruitment efforts. Key Responsibilities: System Administration + Create and enforce CRM system procedures. + Monitor and optimize CRM systems for reliability and performance. + Collaborate with campus partners to gather system requirements. + Develop troubleshooting guidelines and support strategies. Supervision + Lead and mentor a team, providing coaching and performance reviews. + Manage schedules, approve time off, and prioritize projects. + Promote team accountability and engagement through regular meetings. CRM System Support + Lead CRM governance meetings and prioritize projects. + Act as the subject matter expert and trainer for the CRM system. + Develop solutions to system issues and improve processes. + Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and test new features. Development & Maintenance + Manage CRM user roles, security, and data governance. + Design and implement system updates and integrations. + Create and maintain communication campaigns (emails, surveys, etc.). + Develop reports, queries, and dashboards to support recruitment. Documentation & Project Management + Estimate timelines for new developments and improvements. + Track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders. + Provide training and documentation for team members. + Assist with project prioritization and troubleshooting when needed. Example of Duties • Develops system logic to achieve optimum throughput. • Prepares and conducts system and programming tests for Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related CRM software. • Reviews potential applications that interact with CRM. • Works on assignments that are generally of a difficult technical nature and may involve project leadership activities. • Collects and writes technical requirements for new systems. • Designs, implements, maintains and supports enterprise systems infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, software and services. • Troubleshoots complex problems involving multiple systems and working with vendor support to implement fixes. • Interfaces with network, security, identity, and support teams to develop sustainable solutions for campus use. • Provide end-user support and training and interact with stakeholders with a varying levels of technical skills. Level Guidelines • Senior-level position possessing high-level professional and/or technical skills working independently under minimal supervision to support ISU’s mission and department or work unit goals • Applies senior-level professional knowledge and expertise to work requiring greater latitude • Solves moderately complex problems and regularly exercises judgment to determine appropriate action • Regularly exercises judgment to resolve problems and determine appropriate action on a broad set of issue and problems.
