Job Summary:MaineGeneral is looking for a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to join our team at our Alzheimer’s Care Center in Gardiner.

The Alzheimer’s Care Center is an assisted living home for people living with a form of memory impairment. It is located in Gardiner in a private, wooded area on a tree-lined avenue. Attached to the home is a beautiful Adult Day Services Program wing, affectionately called "the Club." Sound nice? We think so! We currently have a 32-hour-per-week, night shift position available.

Job Description:

The Role: Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA)

Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities and administers medications.

The Work:

Distributes medications to residents per physician orders and completes required documentation.Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN.Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.Assists with keeping patient's environment safe, clean, and orderly.Some employees in this job may operate a motor vehicle to conduct MaineGeneral Health business.

You Have:

1 year or more of experience is preferred.Current Maine CRMA certificationPersonal Support Specialist is required within 120 days of hire.Basic Life Support Provider is preferred.
