We have a fantastic opportunity for a CRO Data Analyst to join Pearson's world-leading English Language Learning (ELL) division to help build deeper, data-driven insights into our flagship global English language test portfolio, including the Pearson Test of English (PTE).

Working as part of the ELL Marketing’s eCommerce team, the right individual will have strong foundational skills in Google Marketing Cloud reporting applications. You will work closely with teams across Marketing, Technology and Product to extract, analyse and visualise data about our current digital experience, and to create insights and observations that help steer everything from our marketing and CRO strategies to our UX and digital product roadmaps. Ultimately, your contributions will help us to grow our revenues, market share, and build better experiences for millions of customers.

Key responsibilities

Research and analyse multiple data sources to identify emerging trends and issues that inform our optimization and development roadmaps – including:

web analytics (GA4, heatmap & session replay)

eCommerce

internal and external search keywords and queries

marketing CRM

Net Promoter Score (NPS)

Develop comprehensive traffic forecasts to support broader eCommerce trading goals. Monitor performance with weekly CRM trading reports to assess their contribution to revenue vs target.

Prepare and present findings to stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Input into the development of A/B testing strategies and analyze results to inform future marketing campaigns.

Monitor and analyze competitor performance and industry trends to identify best practices.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and validation processes.

Qualifications & experience

Relevant qualifications in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on digital marketing and D2C audiences.

Proficiency in Google Marketing Cloud tools (e.g., GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, BigQuery).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Looker Studio).

Familiarity with standard compliance practices (GDPR, etc)

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages is a plus.

Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
