ERM is looking to recruit an experienced regulatory affairs professional with experience with Crop Protection regulations to join our Sustainable Products and Supply Chain (SP&SC) team.  This role would be based in the Japan.

The role

We have been supporting global crop protection chemical companies on a wide variety of challenges from advocacy through to registration, regulatory strategy and the related technical issues around human health toxicology, ecotoxicology, environmental fate and residue/analytical chemistry.

With recent regulatory changes, our clients have critical needs around the regulatory re-evaluation of their crop protection products in Japan. We are therefore looking for an experienced regulatory project manager with crop protection regulatory knowledge to join our team.

With business and service development being an important part of the role, we believe that to be successful in this role, you will have a growth mind-set and strong planning and communication skills. You will be passionate about understanding our clients’ needs and growing our business in Japan. You will have prior experience working as a regulatory affairs manager or as a registration manager in Crop Protection and you are a very organised individual who is able to deal with complexity and project milestones. A good understanding of the crop protection regulatory system in Japan is essential. The successful candidate will be fluent in both Japanese and English.
