Cross Border and Cross Currency US Commercialization Lead

Our Cross Border Cross Currency Payments US Commercialization Lead will be a member of the US global payments solutions team. This position is primarily responsible for managing product performance, driving product enhancement and commercialization initiatives, working with local and global Sales, Operations, Client Servicing and Implementation teams. An important responsibility will be managing the cross border payments client experience to ensure high quality servicing and retention of clients, and engaging in review, remediation and mitigation of related product servicing and relevant product risk items. Here’s what you can expect: + Define and own product growth and development roadmap, go-to-market and commercialization strategy + Advocate for a market-leading client experience, and integrate client feedback into the strategy and product roadmap + Develop and maintain the US cross border and cross currency payments proposition for commercial and institutional banking clients, including advocating for and integrating financial market infrastructure developments into the product suite where required + Collaborate with sales and coverage to actively engage clients in consultative dialogue + Accountable for monitoring product performance, profitability, product roadmap and backlog management + Partner closely with cross-functional teams to develop proof of concept and scaleable product propositions, including simplifying the experience for external and internal stakeholders, particularly operations, on-boarding and service teams + Own client segmentation and targeting to ensure product fit and a superior client experience + Manage product development, budget, releases, communications, budget, KPIs related to on-boarding SLA, service + Oversee the product roadmap, development, execution, risk and compliance and revenue growth targets For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $125,600.00 and $188,300.00 The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location. You’ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role: + Bachelors/Masters Degree in business management + Payments Experience: - Proficiency in cross border and cross currency payments products, including USD High Value Clearing and transactional FX products. - Proven experience in leading payment-centric client discussions with internal and client teams across product, operations, technology and service disciplines - Understanding of financial crime risk, regulatory landscape, and best practices to ensure appropriate product design + Financial acumen – ability to create and analyze business cases, profitability analysis and drive commercial discussions with partners and stakeholders + Market Management – understanding of market trends, competitive landscape. Ability to stay at the forefront of market trends, and shape the product strategy to grow wallet and market share + Client Experience –highly client centric, dedicated to optimizing every client touchpoint from on-boarding, transactions, billing, and servicePartnership and Relationship building, negotiation skills.
