In this cross-functional role, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to influence all of our six iconic brands, helping to drive actionable insights and analytics best practice for the Brand Analytics team and our stakeholders. This role has a wide scope of influence, interacting daily with analytics peers, brand teams, Finance and executive audiences, and as such the ability to organize and influence team members and stakeholders is a must to be successful in the role. Key areas of focus will include owning cross-brand performance analysis and reporting, development and advancement of standardized analytics methodologies for common business problems, managing a centralized approach for ongoing team workstreams, and leading in-depth custom analyses on the performance of our brands and category competitors. The ideal candidate must be able to field a high volume of business questions in a fast-paced environment all while maintaining a positive culture focused on growth and development for our team and our brands. Additionally, they are an active leader in cross-brand D&A workstreams to improve our tools, methodologies and processes that power how work gets done.
This position sits in our Atlanta Support Center, with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Insight generation – generate insights that improve the business through linking various data sources (e.g., sales, competitor, market, customer, etc.)Business analysis – analyze and forecast brand performance and sales trends, including promotion and test analysisMethodology and process improvement – improve our tools, methodologies and processes that power how work gets doneProject management – ensure that medium/long term projects are implemented on time and achieve objectivesRelationship management – develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partnersEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum: 4 yr degree; (preferably in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business or Mathematics)
Preferred: Graduate Degree; MBA or similar degree with analytics focus
Minimum: 4-8 years relevant experience in business analysis, data management / reporting, and/or marketing. Time spent in analytics focused MBA or similar graduate degree considered to be additional experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES:
• Ideal candidate has an inquisitive nature, a passion for learning and solving problems and is comfortable working in the gray
• Self-starter personality who can operate with minimal supervision
• Understands business principles and strategy, and possesses strong analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with expertise in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced functions, formulas, filtering, etc.) and database skills (e.g., SQL, Access, etc.) a plus
• Ability to collect and synthesize information, making it relevant, understandable, and actionable for key stakeholders
• Ability to balance multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Strong executive presence, can interact at all levels of the organization across multiple functional areas
• Excellent writing, presentation, project management and strong influencing skills required
• Interest in the restaurant industry and desire to train in our restaurants to learn operations, and a strong desire to help shape the future at Inspire Brands
• Minimal travel may be required
• Experience in a matrix preferred but not required
