The Cross Functional Team Leader will Oversees technical leadership within a cross functional team , Advises customer technical and project personnel, Handles both external and internal stakeholder requirements for new products / features / technology developments.

General Responsibilities
•    Oversees technical leadership within a cross functional team

•    Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses 
•    Leads system specifications and formalized representations of solutions (for example, flow charts, models) to develop systems that meet customer needs
•    Systems Architecture development with roadmaps to increase feature sets, reduce cost, pursue integration opportunities and increase quality
•    Advises internal Sensata sub system design teams to refine implementation of products / features / technologies & specifications to ensure they meet stakeholder’s needs
•    Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework used across multiple products or systems

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelor's degree) with at least 10 or more years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience of at least 14 or more years.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

ROLE SPECIFIC

Leadership of a cross-functional engineering team to execute development activities according to agreed development processes. Collaboration with Application and Platform Development teams to integrate products into customer-focused solutions.Ensure that the team are suitably organized and have capacity to deliver quality solutions to time and quality targets.Provide guidance and facilitate the team to address challenges and issues as they arise.Communication of project status to internal and external stakeholders. Collaborating with Functional Team Managers to support training and personal development of team members. Support preparation of technical offering and development quotes for new business opportunities. Review and reporting of Systems Development KPIs. 

ROLE GENERIC

Establish department and team performance measures and KPI’s that improve effectiveness and meet goals and customer commitments on time to the required specification.Regularly report on Team performance.Develop and manage budgets.Facilitate team building, motivation, morale and employee commitment.Performance manage the department, providing leadership and guidance to team leaders.Ensure adequate technical support and training and development plans are in place and review regularly.Ensure effective team working, continuous process improvements, information and planning systems.Lead by example and manage the overall implementation and maintenance of all operational procedures.
