Crude Transportation Expert

The Crude Transportation Expert will perform the planning and scheduling of truck and pipeline hydrocarbon transportation as well as:

Consolidate volumetric information and generate volumetric reports as necessary to evaluate the behavior of netback, compliance with nominations, volumes of purchases by competitors, and qualities, among others.

Review pipeline quality bank statements ensuring the correct recording of volumes, valuation of crude, and compliance with the provisions of the contracts and manual of each pipeline transporter.

Coordinate the export process - following up on the allocation of windows, inventories, vessel nominations, and customs.

Coordinate the administration of purchasing, transportation, and terminal contracts as well as recommending, managing, and proceeding with the approved changes.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly follow-ups of the compliance of the activities of:

Loading of tankers

Unloading of tankers

Pipeline Transportation

Consolidate crude oil loading/unloading reports at the different loading/unloading points of crude oil, in terms of volumes loaded, unloaded and other required information.

Prepare and manage statistics of the volumes of crude oil transported through the pipeline systems, according to the business units managed by the company.

Verification of transportation costs and transportation taxes invoiced to the company by the transportation systems, unloading points, and tank trucks.

Have control and management of the regulations applicable to the transportation of crude oil by pipeline. Review and application of the transporter's bulletins and changes of form or substance in each of the pipeline transportation contracts.

Manage contracts under their responsibility ensuring 100% compliance with contractual terms and corporate guidelines.

Develop and maintain operational relationships with external counterparties.

Generate reliable, accurate and timely information for decision-making at the volumetric level.

Education and Experience

Professional Degree

3+ years of industry experience scheduling hydrocarbons

Spanish and English verbal and written fluency
