Job Description

  

Job Summary:

Performs precision mechanical assembly for Cooler production. Performs the required processes of cleaning, documenting, and testing of Cooler parts, subassemblies, and finished goods. Utilizes production tooling, computers, and specialized equipment required for production and material/WIP tracking. Identifies and documents discrepant material. May complete rework on discrepant material or RMA material as required. Performs final verification testing and pack-out for Cooler assemblies. Interacts with Coworkers, Managers, and Engineering for Troubleshooting and Continuous Improvement efforts.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Precision mechanical assembly and precision adhesive application following work instructionsPart inspection and metrology – (microscopes, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.)Operation of Cryogenic purge and fill systemsUse of multi-meters and precision test equipmentUse of thermal and environmental chambersHelium leak detection using helium mass spectrometerSet up of test equipment per test specificationsPerform measurements and tests from test procedures and document resultsComplete required documentation for travelers and computer WIP trackingAssist Engineering in developmental processes, as necessarySupport Tool Design & implementation, as necessaryDocumentation and/or Rework of discrepant materialAqueous ultrasonic cleaning operationsMiscellaneous support functions, as necessary

Job Qualifications:

Must be able to communicate orally, read, and write using the English languageAbility to work using hands and have good manual dexterity with attention to detailBasic computer skills - Outlook, Excel, WordMust be able to visually inspect small partsMust be able to use small hand tools like tweezers, hex keys, and probes/picksMust be able to use a microscopeMust be able to use hands to move and assemble very small parts and fastening devicesMust be able to sit for extended periods of time

Desired skills:

A.A. or A.S. degree or equivalent experience (e.g., military training) desired1-2 years related experience with electro-mechanical assembly desiredMechanical and electrical conceptsAbility to read and understand written test proceduresESD procedures desiredISO 9001 experience – preferred

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

  

Salary Range:

$42,680.00-$56,980.000
