The CSA Superintendent will oversee the civil, structural, and architectural aspects of a steel factory construction project in Boden, Sweden. Working on behalf of the main EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor, the CSA Superintendent will ensure that all CSA activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee and manage all CSA activities on the construction site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules. Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to determine project needs and ensure smooth execution of CSA tasks. Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that the construction site complies with all health and safety regulations. Resource Management: Manage the procurement and allocation of materials, equipment, and labor for CSA activities. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring that CSA activities are completed within the allocated budget. Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Project Manager, highlighting any issues or delays and proposing solutions. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any on-site issues or emergencies related to CSA activities. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all CSA activities, including daily field reports, field orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information).Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a supervisory role on construction projects, preferably in the industrial sector. Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in project management software. Certifications: Relevant certifications in construction safety and project management are preferred. Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Swedish is a plus.Working Conditions:
