Analyzes Center’s student discipline and incentive program and uses proper judgment and discretion to resolve issues and problems. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data. High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree from an accredited school preferred. A minimum of one-year experience in Job Corps or related residential youth program required. Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance. Qualifications o Follows all program integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data. o Oversees the Center behavior management system to ensure student compliance with Center rules and regulations. o Provides orientation to new students including explaining Center rules, regulations, incentive/disciplinary system and legal services available. o Provides in-service training to all staff on the Center behavior management system. o Ensures the Center's compliance with Job Corps Zero Tolerance policies. o Administers penalties for disciplinary infractions in accordance with PRH requirements, approved sanction guide and the Student Handbook. o Appoints and trains staff to serve on the Center’s Fact Finding Board and Behavior Review Panels. o Investigates student incidents involving student misconduct. Reports significant concerns to the Center Director. o Ensures sanctions are imposed in accordance with Center Sanction Guide. o Maintains a complete file of student disciplinary records and ensures student behavioral infractions are appropriately entered into CIS. o Analyzes and prepares data related to behavioral trends and prepares required reports as directed. o Acts as liaison with local law enforcement authorities regarding students charged with criminal activities off-Center. Coordinates these activities with the Center Safety/Security department. o In cooperation with the Career Development Manager, ensures the effective administration of the Career Success Standards Rating system as directed by company guidelines. o Develops Center-beneficial linkages within the community for education, employment, Career Technical Training and WBL. Promotes a positive image of the Center and Job Corps. o Mentors, monitors and models the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH. o Provides high-quality supervision and management for the student population. Takes swift and appropriate action is taken and positively influences student behavior. Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions and behavior. o Provides quality programs and services for students and ensures that quality is maintained and student needs are met. Pursues improvement and enhancement of programs and services. o Exchanges ideas and information, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner and contributes meaningfully to group efforts by offering relevant ideas and knowledge. Provides quality and timely information to DOL/Company when requested. o Effectively articulates thoughts and ideas. Identifies problems, analyzes causes and evaluates appropriate solutions prior to taking or recommending actions. Follows up to ensure prompt/appropriate action is taken and that problems are in fact corrected. o Works in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students. o Accepts direction and supervision from the Center Director/Center Duty Officer/Shift Manager to include assignments to temporarily perform job responsibilities of other departments and positions. o Other duties as assigned. “Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
