**A Snapshot of Your Day** Perform duties related to customer service including but not limited to direct customer inquiries, communications, problem resolution, quoting and order management. Work involves frequent exercise of independent judgment and action. Usually is assigned responsibility for a specific group of customers and/or product lines. The position also provides continuous communication of on-going shop floor risks, statuses, and path forward to meet commitments within the Gas Turbine Service Division. **How You’ll Make an Impact** + Must demonstrate product knowledge sufficient to communicate with internal and external customers. + Administers/ manages details of customer orders from receipt through invoicing. Review of transactions for completeness and accuracy. + Works closely with Product Line Managers and Engineering to determine technical scope of work for orders placed on WSC. Coordinates daily activities with operations, quality, engineering, shipping/receiving to ensure orders are progressing to meet customer commitments. + Expediting of orders or proposals for customers as necessary. Works with purchasing in scheduling requests for subcontract services at supplier facilities. + Maintain positive customer and interpersonal relationships, including telephone, correspondence and customer visits as required. Provide customer correspondence such as schedule updates, quality issues, clarification of scopes of work and any/all information impacting customer deliveries. + Create/provide reports on customer centered metrics to upper management. Perform other duties as directed. **What You Bring** + Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. + 2+ plus years of experience involving Customer interaction, coordination of work prioritization and successful demonstration of ability to work independently and with teams. + Candidates must have a very good grasp of Microsoft office programs and have basic knowledge of ERP systems. Experience in SAP a plus. + Candidates must have good verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent, demonstrated experience with computers and Microsoft Office software. Requires strong problem solving and analytical skills. Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Communication with internal customers to understand requirements and communicate process deviations. + Requires strict confidentiality in dealing with sensitive, private information, and possesses high professional ethics, dependability, good judgement, and ability to take decisive action.Ability to willingly participate in a team environment to achieve departmental and organizational goals and objectives. Ability to work with established deadlines and achieve goals/outcomes. Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours to meet business needs and travel to company events.
