Role Purpose

Manages operational services across stream and process area. Supports the development of business units and or markets to enable operation services, improve performance, and mitigate risk

Key Responsibilities Supervise Hire to Retire team including review or work performed for completeness and accuracy of bi-weekly payroll. Lead ongoing operations through direct supervision, assisting in management of daily activities and reassessing staff to ensure efficient & effective operations are maintained. Develop team through mentoring, training and annual performance reviews. Review routine work on a regular basis ensuring that all necessary SOPs are completed, accurate, and updated as needed; achieve & maintain compliance with established policies & procedures. Ensure work targets and schedules are met, while implementing solutions to deal with schedule delays. Respond to escalated employee inquiries and resolve more complex customer requests and issues. Manage year-end process, perform critical year-end reviews to facilitate a smooth year end close and transition into the new year. Coordinate the integration of acquisitions and mergers Actively participate in the maintenance of data integrity between HR Platform (SAP), Kronos, and ADP GlobalView (SAP) systems.

 

Experiences/Education - Required BS Degree (Preferably in Business, Finance, or Accounting) 7+ years of full-time payroll experience, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience of a mid-sized payroll team (6 – 9 employees). Experience working in a complex environment servicing over 15,000 union and non-union employees Strong analytical skills and proven supervisory/process management skills. Proficiency with ADP GlobalView Kronos Advanced proficiency in Excel Microsoft office suite
