Seeking a GA with strong writing & tech skills

Peace, Poetry, and Policy—a multilingual anthology of poems on peace, conflict transformation, and social change by the greater Middlebury community, edited by Professor Marie Butcher

A special project funded by the KWD Collaborative in Conflict Transformation

Required Skills:

Ability to commit for the duration of Fall semester 2023 and potentially continue work next semester, Spring 2024. Meet regularly with the Project Supervisor to check in on tasks. Ability to work with the Project Supervisor and DLINQ on building a website and portal for submissions to the anthology. Able to work on tasks independently. Excellent communication and organizational skills Able to handle a workload of approximately 6 hours/ week. Willingness to learn about conflict-transformation and peace-related methodologies, topics, issues, approaches, as they relate to the project. 

(Existing CT fellows are eligible to apply.)

Desirable skills:

Interest in poetry and willingness to explore the intersection of poetry, policy, and peace. Good lay-out/ graphic design skills Potentially contribute to social media posts about the project

Deadline to apply: October 15, 2023

Start Date: Immediately upon hire.

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
