Join our Radiology team at the Bayonne Imaging Center! We are seeking a Per Diem CT Technologist. Role Overview: + Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on patients of all age groups. + Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and practices. + Explain procedures to patients, monitoring for patient safety and comfort, administering contrast (IV and/or Oral). + Conduct imaging in accordance to established protocols and quality standards. + Enter complete and accurate documentation into all AHS/Radiology systems. + Perform general radiology procedures, biopsies, cardiac imaging and all other exams done in the department. Key Qualifications: + Associate’s Degree / Graduate of a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school. + ARRT certification + Minimum 2 yrs experience in CT preferred and operating GE systems preferred. + NJ State Department of Health License in Diagnostic Radiography + IV Certification AHS Investment Corporation (AHSIC) is the wholly owned for-profit subsidiary of Atlantic Health System (AHS).
