Position Purpose: The CT Technologist will operate computerized tomography (CT) scanner to obtain filmed or softcopy images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures.
What you will do:
The right candidate will comprehend radiology examinations and equipment operations. Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family members. Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.Ability to perform examinations in an accurate and timely manner are also top priority.Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of Certified CAT scan program.Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in both Radiography and CAT scan. State licensure as a Radiographer. Registry eligible candidates have one year from date of hire to obtain the certification.1-year working in a CAT Scan Technologist capacity preferred.Position Highlights and Benefits:
