What We Are Looking For:
Woodland Heights Medical Center Radiology Department is now hiring a full-time, licensed CT TECHNOLOGIST to work in our thriving 149-bed acute care hospital. The CT Technologist, under direct supervision, uses computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patient’s internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues.

Graduate of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology program requiredARRT (R) requiredARRT (CT) required or willing to obtain within one year from start dateTexas Radiologic Technologist certification requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association requiredA minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred, but not required
Duties You'll Perform as a CT TECHNOLOGIST at WHMC:
Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructionsAdminister contrast materialPrepare and operate CT scan equipmentAbility to position patient to capture appropriate imagesSend images to Radiologist for interpretation/readingClean and disinfect patient roomsFollow infection control and safety guidelines
