The role you’ll contribute:
Under the direction of the Radiologist, performs CT radiologic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative to perform CT procedures and appropriate protocols for diagnosis; to include Interventional Radiology procedures with CT guidance. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Technologist may still be required to assist in X-ray in addition to CT to meet department needs. Obtain ARRT(CT) credential within 12 months of starting this role and then transition to the appropriate CT Tech job description/role.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
·Work under the supervision of a credentialed CT or experienced CT technologist registered in another primary modality, to obtain the necessary experience to perform the exams required for ARRT CT registry. May be required to work shifts at freestanding
