Assumes accountability for managing delivery of care and patient safety Appropriately educates and explains procedures to patients Assesses patients for potential risk factor Follows appropriate departmental protocol for procedures unless specified differently by the Radiologist Obtains and documents patient history and pertinent information Insures proper identification of patient following NPSG guidelines (pt. name ,DOB) Verifies and follows Doctor’s order Provides for patient privacy Completes work within an acceptable time fram e Produces quality diagnostic images for interpretation Positioning / Technique / Sterile technique Familiar with location of emergency equipment and medications to assist in treatment of contrast reactions and other emergencies.Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
