**Overview** **F** **airview Health Services is hiring a casual** **CT Technologist to join our CT Scanner department at our M Health Fairview Northland Hospital location in Princeton, MN.** The CT Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing the responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT). **Schedule** **:** The CT casual position requires 2 shifts a month which could include days, evenings or night shifts. Correctly operates equipment according to accepted standards and guidelines Identifies and responds to equipment problems to ensure equipment is working properly Maintains a high level of proficiency Accepts new technology as it’s introduced into the facility Participates in Quality Assurance testing as required by regulatory agencies and/or manufacturer recommendations **Qualifications** **Required:** Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Basic Life Support (BLS) - must be current before hire date and from American Heart Association or American Red Cross **Preferred:** 1 or more years of experience in a related role Additional certifications in Imaging Additional Requirements (must be acquired or completed within a period of time): Understanding of current MN Dept of Health Regulations. Knowledge of quality control and safety standards. Previous ambulatory care experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills.
