As a CT Technologist at Newport Medical Center, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality diagnostic care and supporting patients through each step of their imaging process. Working full-time day shifts Monday through Friday, you’ll enjoy a structured schedule that supports work-life balance. Shifts are 7:30a-6pm, 4 days a week with no call!

Requirements:

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology and A.R.R.T. registrationFamiliarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within radiologic technology

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT and X-ray exams following established protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy, quality, and efficiencyPrepare and verify patient information, confirming informed consent and assisting as necessaryAdjust equipment for optimal imaging results, guiding patients through each step and administering contrast media as orderedUse experience and judgment to meet procedural goals effectively, with flexibility and creativity to address unique patient needsOperate independently with general supervision, utilizing the autonomy allowed within this role to make informed decisions
