CT Technologist

Performs a variety of CT procedures for diagnostic purposes in accordance with department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards.  Instructs and prepares patients of any age group for CT scan procedures by interviewing patients, in detail, regarding medical history.  Obtains signed consent for procedure.  Assist Radiologist in sterile procedures such as biopsies, drainage, aspirations, and facet injections.  Participates in call back rotation as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Associate's Degree Coursework/Training: Must maintain required continuing education hours necessary to renew license/certification. California Radiologic Technologist upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire. National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years of experience in CT, or 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
