CT Technologist Pay Range: + Base: $35.50 - $45.50 per hour (+ shift differential) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate CT scanners and process images, ensuring high-quality radiographs are produced in accordance with established practices and procedures. Responsibilities include: + Preparing patients, rooms, equipment, supplies, and medication according to age-specific standards. + Producing computerized tomographic radiographs as ordered/directed. + Coordinating with nursing units to bring patients down for scans. + Ensuring results are automatically sent back to the hospital through the EMR system. + Working collaboratively with colleagues, especially during high-volume periods. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: + Participate in hand-offs with the outgoing technologist. + Start with the work list, primarily handling cases from the ER department (80-95%). + Manage an average of 150 exams daily, including inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients. + Overnight technologists handle 20-30 patients from 7:00pm to 6:00am. + Ensure patient history is recorded, scans are performed, and images are sent to radiologists for reading. + Work together with other technologists depending on volume and patient difficulty.
