A CT technologist performs quality CT scans in adherence to clinical protocols, ensuring images are suitable for radiologist review and interpretation. Staying current with the latest advancements in imaging equipment and technology is essential for maintaining high-quality services. Compliance with new procedures and policies within the CT department is mandatory to ensure the highest standards of care. In addition, the technologist serves as a valuable resource for referring departments, offering clinical expertise related to CT modalities. They must demonstrate a deep awareness of HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality are respected. Professionalism is key, as the technologist interacts with patients, families, and colleagues with courtesy and care. Maintaining an organized and clean work environment, along with ensuring proper inventory management and safety protocols, contributes to a well-functioning department. Adherence to infection control requirements and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is critical to safeguarding both patients and staff.
We are currently hiring a full-time, 40-hour CT Tech to work onsite Monday through Friday either 7:30 am to 4:00 pm or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Qualifications
Required:
MA License required and maintained
ARRT required
Advanced CT registration required
Ideal candidate would possess at least three years of experience within a CT Department
CPR/BLS certification required
IV skills preferred
Contrast utilization
Completion of a medical imaging program
