Job Summary

Performs CT examinations, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy of Avera St. Luke's, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care. CT Swing Shift position will assist in performing radiology duties as required. Assist in clinical training of staff technologists and radiology clinical students.  Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.  Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.

                       

Education and/or Experience

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, or equivalent specialty.  (Nuclear Medicine Technology) A minimum of two years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.  (ARRT, CNMT)  Must be working towards advanced certification in CT/MRI.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm Every 4-5th weekend Every 4th holiday Call time once a week and every 4-5th weekend Team Environment

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$26.25 - $39.50 per hour
