Summary: Under the direction of the Lead CT Technologist, the CT Technologist utilizes computed tomography equipment to obtain diagnostic images for interpretation or intervention by the radiologist. Exhibits quality patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Licensure: Must be ARRT certified in Radiography and CT and currently licensed by the State of Rhode Island. In addition, must be CPR certified or obtain it within 3 months from date of hire.
Education: High school diploma plus satisfactory completion of two years of formal training in an approved school of Radiological Technology.
Experience: A minimum of six months of prior training or work experience in CT Scan is required.
