CT Technologist Specialist (Cardiac Program)

_Title and compensation will be determined upon education and experience level._
Sign-On Bonus:

+ $15,000 with 2-year commitment
+ $30,000 with 3-year commitment
In addition to performing imaging procedures at an advanced level, this role provides technical expertise to multiple business units. It functions as a resource to staff for orientation, continuing education, and protocol development.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform job responsibilities of CT Tech I & Advanced CT II Tech.
+ Create and implement new training programs, and assist with the startup of new offsite locations, including working on reporting systems, obtaining appropriate images, and effectively communicating with attending physicians, co-workers, and patients.
+ Lead training on new techniques and protocols for research studies, collaborating with radiologists and researchers to identify new techniques and problem-solving resolutions.
+ Responsible for the tech quality assurance program and the review and updating of protocols, alongside or in place of the lead technologists. Assume a leadership role in training staff on new equipment.
+ Attend advanced training sessions and seminars to maintain industry standards in imaging techniques, disseminating information to imaging departmental leadership and as part of new hire orientation.
+ Assist with accreditation responsibilities.
+ Serve as a technical resource to technologists on a daily operational basis, assisting with continuing education needs and participating as a peer delegate in staff annual performance reviews.
+ Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or certified by a CNMT program.
+ 3 years CT experience required.
+ Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** ARRT certified as a CT Technologist. CPR or BLS Required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
+ ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
+ Act 33 with renewal
+ Act 34 with renewal
+ Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
