Review patient history and physician's orders. Drag Edit Delete Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. Drag Edit Delete When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice. Drag Edit Delete Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate. Drag Edit Delete Prepares equipment and supplies. Drag Edit Delete Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Drag Edit Delete Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Drag Edit Delete Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Drag Edit Delete Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Drag Edit Delete Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures. Drag Edit Delete Enters, transmits and reports scan results. *Minimum Education:* * Graduate of an educational program in Radiologic Technology. Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges. * Standing and/or walking for extensive periods. * Working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
