We are hiring immediately for this position to begin September 9, 2024. We are excited to open our brand new Free Standing Emergency Department at 4405 South US 27 N Clermont, FL 34711-5384. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Department Manager and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. Under the direction of the supervisor, this position must perform all functions related to multiple modalities: including CT or Xray and general Radiology Technologist duties. The CT/Xray Technologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team. Qualifications Education Post High School Special Training Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Cross-trained in Cat Scan Licensure/Certification/Registration State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist General Radiographer qualifications license required (Computer Tomography qualifications preferred) ARRT(R) required ARRT(CT) preferred BLS required Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
