CTI - Analyst - AVP/C12 Getzville
The Citi Treasury Investments (CTI) organization is responsible of managing the firm’s balance sheet exposure and needs. CTI achieves these objectives through managing several different portfolios, consisting of raising capital and liquidity through the issuance of debt, Intercompany funding via borrows & placements, the purchase of AFS/HTM securities, and the use of derivatives to hedge exposures. CTI is responsible for managing central liquidity and investment portfolio, executing multiple hedge programs, providing USD and Non USD financing to other businesses and legal entities, as well as management of the USD and Non USD interest rate risk. The goal is to achieve Citi’s desired net interest position, by issuance of benchmark debt and structured notes, credit card securitizations and performing liability management for all capital securities issued through Citigroup and CBNA. The role of CTI Buffalo is to be a partner across all CTI business with a shared ownership and understanding such that the combined group can function as an integrated team regardless of geography; while providing an opportunity to align and right size functions. We look to add value through Trade Support, Risk Management and Portfolio Analysis. **C12:** The Assistant Vice President role within Citi Treasury Investments is a professional role within Treasury. The role will require the successful candidate to be able to perform at a high level in a diverse and complex Markets-based environment. You must be able to problem solve and utilize solid judgement. A successful candidate will have a good understanding of how to work in a team environment while being able to integrate with others in accomplishing key objectives. The ability to apply analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of market information. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner.
