Ecumen North Branch is hiring a Culinary Administrative Assistant. Ecumen North Branch consists of 51 assisted living rental apartment homes, 68 nursing home beds, 20 additional residences for seniors requiring memory care as well as transitional care services.
The Culinary Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the dining department as it relates to all aspects of food service through providing confidential, professional administrative support while working in accordance with established policies, procedures, and specific instructions from the Culinary Director. This position is responsible for monitoring inventory and ordering food and supplies, scheduling dining department staff, being a go-to person in the absence of the Culinary Director and assisting with administrative duties.

Shift: 10:30am - 7:00pm - 72 hours bi-weekly Position works every other weekend/Holiday rotation The targeted pay range for this job is $21.12 - $23.48 per hour depending on experience. Essential Job Responsibilities:
Monitors inventory and orders food and supplies. Schedules dining department staff and coordinates call-ins. Go-to person for team members and residents in the absence of the Culinary Director. Codes invoices; organizes and maintains documentation. Collects and delivers all end/beginning of the month documentation.Culinary Administrative Assistant Minimum Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent. Excellent customer service and phone skills. Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written Must be able prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently. Must be able to work independently and must be a self-starter. Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to meet deadlines despite distractions and interruptions. Able to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulationsPreferred Qualifications:
Prior customer service experience. Experience working with seniors. Experience in inventory control.
