The Culinary Diet Tech provides nutrition services to patients. This position interacts with clinical caregivers, patients, and patient’s family members to explain the meal process.Work Site & Scheduling

Job Essentials
Ensuring communication in the kitchen by calling out orders, getting the status on dishes, and calling room service staff to deliver trays. Informing the room service staff when certain dishes or ingredients have run out and passing food requests from the call center to room service. Ensuring that all orders are completed in time and with the correct priority. Keeping the storage and prep areas clean, neat, and well-stocked. Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety standards. Handling complaints and looking for solutions. Ensures the efficient flow of orders. Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority. Assist in the final preparation of dishes. Check dishes before delivery for accuracy and presentation. Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning. Transfer important information between the kitchen and the room service staff. Food prep as needed. Support other tasks as neededMinimum Qualifications
Food handler's permit (as required by facility. Remote workers may be exempt from this requirement).Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated basic computer skills and keyboarding proficiency.Demonstrated math skills.Demonstrated ability to transcribe information quickly and accurately.Preferred: Food service or healthcare experience.Preferred: Coursework in NutritionPhysical Requirements:
Interact with patients and co-workers requiring the employee to verbally communicate information, as well as understand spoken information.Operate food service equipment or computer requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.See and read labels, monitors, and documents.Carry, push/pull, and walk while transporting food, supplies, and service equipment.Climb, squat, kneel, and lift to clean equipment and reach and retrieve food and supplies.Remain standing for long periods of time to perform work.Tolerate extremes in temperature such as performing work at a grill or in a refrigerator.Location:
