We are seeking a Culinary Director to join our Vernon Terrace Team in Edina, MN! This position is accountable for managing all dining service operations, guaranteeing that meals are meticulously prepared and presented in compliance with all relevant regulations and customer expectations.

 

Culinary Leadership schedule includes;

Responsibilities/Job Description Plans and manages all aspects of dining service operationsFollow Corporate menusManages inventory and food/supplies budgetsAssists with planning and developing menus for upcoming weekFood PreperationProperly cook foods to specified temperaturesProducts meet temperature and quality standardsFollow standardized recipes and products to ensure products are consistent in quality and nutritional valueSanatize equipment and work area after each useMaintain a "clean as you go" attitude demonstrated by a clean work areaClean and sanatize equipment after each use per the cleaning scheduleUse appropriate equipment and chemicals according to manufacturer's recommendationsPromotes positive resident relations and satisfactionEnsures that dining area is clean and invitingWelcomes residents, initiates conversation and encourages socializationSolicits resident feedback and suggestions Qualifications

Required:

Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) or must obtain within first 90-days of employment1-3 years experiencePerformance management skillsWorking knowledge of basic Microsoft applications

Preferred:
