Position Overview
The Culinary Distribution Coordinator supports the food service team by working closely with the operations manager, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure that department operational needs are met through excellent coordination and communication. This role will have primary support duties for delivery and stocking of local micro-markets.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
Delivery and stocking of local micro-markets while following FIFO (First In, First Out) and good food safety standards.Transport items daily between Madison locations while driving a delivery van/truck.Load a delivery van/truck by properly placing and securing items.Tracking and documenting inventory and ensuring par levels are followed.Documenting and reporting engagement of specific food items to ensure our program is meeting customer needs.Responsible for ordering food to maintain par levels at all locationsAdaptable to rapid changes in priorities, strong sense of urgency, and able to identify ways to work together to achieve results needed for all requests.Maintain shared filing system to track critical information.Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication.Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support teams to reach common goals.Ability to frequently and accurately communicate with employees, customers, and vendors in person, via the telephone or by email.Ability to track detail and coordinate multiple tasks both owned individually and by others.Demonstrated success with oral and written communications, results orientation, facilitation, and teamwork skills.Manages issues and action items collaborating directly with team members to ensure completion.Ability to consistently perform well during times of increased workload.Ability to quickly analyze a situation, come up with solutions, and implement them.Motivated self-starter and creative problem-solver.Proactive, approachable, solution focused.Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent internal and external facing customer service skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations and respond to new information and unexpected circumstances.Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.Ability to work designated schedule.Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as needed.Ability to work overtime, as needed.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for approximately 20% of a typical working day.Ability to work seated for approximately 50% of a typical working day. Ability to work standing for approximately 50% of a typical working day.Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 20% of a typical working day.Ability and means to travel between Madison locations.Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.Minimum Qualifications
Associates Degree in related field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of Associates Degree.Possession of a valid driver's license; no suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowed. No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months. No alcohol or drug event in which a vehicle was driven by the candidate or employee, including but not limited to Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) failure, refusal to submit to alcohol or drug test, alcohol related suspension, etc. in the last 36 months.No other results from the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check that exposes Exact Sciences to what Exact Sciences deems to be an unacceptable level of liability.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.#LI-CB1Salary Range:
$42,000.00 - $67,000.00The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
