Culinary Intern

The intern will bring passion and creativity to their work, developing close working relationships with the Executive Chef team. Responsible for learning kitchen production, food safety, garde manger, patient dining, retail, catering and storeroom procedures. Expected to maintain a professional appearance and always conduct themselves professionally.

Key Tasks include (but are not limited to):

Learn the importance of food safety and procedures Assist in daily kitchen production procedures, food safety, garde manger, patient dining, retail, and catering services  Learn knife skills, service, and portion control Learn proper storage procedures including dry storage, deliveries, & proper procedures for denying or accepting product
